About LCA
The Lincolnshire Community Association is a not-for-profit community organization, which was founded in 1957 to promote good will and to help make the Village a better place to live. The LCA sponsored and consummated the incorporation of Lincolnshire as a village, conducted the first elections, and has provided financing for playgrounds, picnic areas, the first police car and bicycle, bike paths, local school functions and projects, scouts and other community groups.
The LCA is dedicated to serving the Village and enhancing a strong sense of community. In keeping with that goal, each year the LCA sponsors fun community events, such as the Halloween "Boo Fest" party. The highlight of the year is our Fourth of July celebration that includes a parade, a 5K race, games, food, entertainment, the announcement of our "Citizen of the Year," and a fabulous fireworks display.
Throughout the year, LCA provides monetary grants to qualified non-profit, Lincolnshire-based organizations, Village departments or boards, special interest groups, community service organizations and public schools serving Lincolnshire residents. The LCA also funds pilot projects, capital expenditures, education initiatives, and other programs that primarily benefit Lincolnshire residents.
We would welcome your involvement. The LCA cannot exist without the help and dedication of people just like you. Please join us at one of our monthly meetings and learn how the LCA contributes to wonderful quality of life that we enjoy here in Lincolnshire.
